Wantok Support exists to support Papua New Guinean citizens both here in the UK and also PNG who are either destitute or facing hardships. In addition, it is to assist other charities to deliver services to the people of Papua New Guinea through projects, or work with statutory and church groups to assist the people in PNG. At our last Trustees meeting, we agreed to research into the following areas to see which projects we could support and then raise funds towards the selected projects.
The charity is only 5 months old and comprises of 11 Trustees and a handful of members but we are determined to assist the people of Papua New Guinea as much as we can. The information gathered by the Trustees based on the above topics will then be discussed at the Trustees meeting in July 2012. The Trustees will then select which projects to focus on and we will then start the fund raising process.
